Do I need an MOT?
If your vehicle is 3 years old or more you must book your vehicle in for an MOT test every year by law. This is to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and meets all the environmental requirements set out by the DVSA. Driving a vehicle without a valid MOT will invalidate your insurance.
What happens if my vehicle fails MOT?
It's not a problem. If your vehicle fails it's MOT test we will explain why it failed and advise on any repair work that needs to be carried out in order to meet the specific standards set out by DVSA. We offer a free MOT retest within 10 working days if the necessary repairs to bring your car up to scratch are carried out at our garage.
When is my MOT due to expire?
It's easy to forget when your MOT is due to expire. If you are unsure simply enter your vehicle registration number on the gov.uk website. This will tell you instantly the expiry date of your current MOT. It is important to check as without a current valid MOT your insurance cover will be invalid.
